In my artwork there is a continual interplay between reality and abstraction. I am intrigued by the abstract qualities in landscape: the tangle/textures of prairie grasses OR the light/colour of lake reflections. Vice versa, in my abstract works, the shape, colour and textures recall a landscape memory.
